Frank believes that real New York Pizza is all about the crust and taking special care when preparing the dough for brick oven cooking. He always says, "If you can compete in New York City, you can go anywhere in the world, open a pizzeria, and be successful."
Frank has been serving his famous New York, brick oven pizza in Asheville for over 30 years. Carl Oliver joined with Frank in 1979 as an employee and later purchased the business from Frank. In 1992, Carl opened the Merrimon Avenue store which has been in operation now for 17 years!
